Barrington Kennels Pet Resort is owned and operated by Glenn & Deborah who have been professional dog trainers for 30 years. They have earned numerous awards and accomplishments in conformation, obedience, agility, and tracking. Their all-positive reinforcement system of dog training earned them recognition in the Chicago Tribune and the training book Zoomility by Grey Stafford PHD, Director of Conservation for the Wildlife World Zoo in Phoenix, AZ and former Sea World Trainer. They understand the emotional and physical needs of your pet and provide a variety of programs to make your pet’s stay fun and comfortable.
Amy had been with the kennel for 13 years. She has a Bachelors Degree from Aurora University and has experience working as a veterinarian technician. She and her dogs will greet you when you enter the kennel. When not at the front desk she can probably be found playing with the cats!
Jaymie has been with the kennel for 13 years. She has experience working as a Veterinarian Technician and has also worked many years for the Humane Society of America.
Kristen has been with us for almost 10 years!! She has an Associates Degree in Small Business Management from Harper College. Kristen loves the little dogs and can usually be found carrying someone around!
Nicole has worked for us for over 5 years, during which time she has earned her Associates Degree in Science. Nicole loves letting the dogs out for playtime and taking pictures of them. You can see her pictures on our Facebook page!
Bobby is our gentle giant! Bobby came to us after serving his country with the Army for 10 years. Have a big dog that you’d like played with? Bobby’s your guy!
Dan has over 27 years of experience with dogs. You’ll always find his pockets full of treats. Not only does he help with pet care in the resort, he also professionally grooms dogs along with his wife Maria.
